Fortnite’s HUD has a lot on show at once but it never feels like it disrupts gameplay. Fortnite has remained consistent with the colouring of the health and shield making them easily distinguishable to new players. Fortnite’s HUD is incredibly organised making navigation easy and gameplay smooth. The game allows the player to give a rough estimate on teammates health by showing their hp meter in the top right, this feature makes it easier for players to understand when their teammates need healing and when not. The HUD clearly displays the player’s inventory all at the same time differing from other shooting games that only display one weapon at a time, this difference makes fortnite’s HUD unique. Fortnite’s mini-map is also slightly different from those in other games because instead of being a miniature circle.

The layout of marvel rivals HUD is way different from fortnites due to it not being a battle royale. Marvel rivals HUD is informative and easy to understand with minimal detail. The only things displayed in the rivals HUD are your health, abilities and ult meter. The ult meter is what stands out the most especially when its ready and starts glowing yellow. The simplicity of the HUD allows the player to focus more on the game than anything else.

FIFA’s menus have evolved tremendously over the years and with major changes being added almost every year. The menus remain fairly simple. The recent fc 25 menu is arguably the most simple we’ve ever had, each game mode is shown on the same screen ready to be selected immediately. The settings are available at all times also.
